Euanthus
Euanthus panii was described as an angiosperm based on structures interpreted as fossil flowers from the Jiulongshan Formation of Liaoning, China. The "flowers" were reconstructed as having a hairy style. Later researchers noted the similarity between the Euanthus "flowers" and cones of conifers that has become disaggregated.
Juraherba
Nanjinganthus
Nanjinganthus dendrostyla was described as an angiosperm based on structures interpreted as fossil flowers from the Lower Jurassic South Xiangshan Formation of Nanjing, China. The "flowers" were reconstructed as epigynous and bearing odd, branching styles. Given the Jurassic age of the Nanjinganthus structures, their apparently woody texture, and their similarity to Euanthus panii, it is likely that they represent cones of a conifer.
